This Disclaimer applies to Praveenya — the education application for Android and iOS (package com.quizcash.live) operated by QuizCash ("we", "our", "us"), the related institution web portal, and our websites (together, the "Platform"). QuizCash is the name of the operating company; Praveenya is the name of the product.

Everything on the Platform — practice quizzes, question banks, answers, explanations, study material, and the academic records an institution chooses to display — is provided for general educational purposes only. By using the Platform you acknowledge and accept the disclaimers set out below. This Disclaimer forms part of, and should be read with, our Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

1. What Praveenya is

Praveenya is an educational quiz and campus-administration application. It has two sides to it: a place to learn — practice quizzes, revision, exam preparation and assessments set by a school or college — and a campus workspace where students, parents and teachers can see attendance, marks, timetables, assignments, notices, study material and school documents.

Praveenya is not a gambling, betting, lottery or game-of-chance service, and it is not an online real-money game. Quiz outcomes reflect a learner's knowledge, accuracy and speed, and they carry nothing of monetary value — see Section 7.

Praveenya is also not a statutory record system, a certifying authority, an examination board, a recruitment agency, or an admission or placement service.

2. Educational purpose only

Quiz questions, mock tests, practice sets, explanations, notes and other study material on the Platform are provided for self-study, practice and revision. To be plain about what they are not:

• They are not an official syllabus, curriculum, scheme, blueprint or course structure of any board, university, council or examining authority.
• They are not an official question paper — not a leaked, forecast or "guaranteed" paper, and not a copy of any live or forthcoming examination. Where material is described as being based on a previous year's paper or on a published exam pattern, it is our own preparation of practice content for study purposes and nothing more.
• They are not a substitute for a student's institution, for classroom teaching, for a teacher or lecturer, for a prescribed textbook, for laboratory or practical work, or for the official study material an institution or board issues.
• They are not a certificate, a qualification or proof of competence. A score, rank, badge or streak on Praveenya carries no academic standing outside the Platform, except to the extent the institution that set an assessment chooses to give it standing under its own academic rules.

Syllabuses, exam patterns, marking schemes, eligibility criteria and examination dates change, sometimes at short notice. Always verify them against the official source listed in Section 4, and against what your own institution tells you.

3. No guarantee of academic outcome

Practising on Praveenya does not guarantee any result. We make no promise, representation, warranty or guarantee — express or implied — that using the Platform will produce:

• a pass, a particular grade, a percentage, a percentile, a rank or a merit position in any examination;
• selection, shortlisting, admission or a seat at any school, college, university or institution;
• eligibility for, or the award of, any scholarship;
• a job, an internship, a placement or any career advancement;
• any improvement in classroom performance, attendance or academic standing.

Academic results depend on many things outside our control — a learner's own effort, preparation time and prior knowledge, the teaching they receive, examination conditions, and the decisions of the examining authority. A practice score on the Platform indicates practice performance only. It is not a prediction of an examination result, and past performance on the Platform does not indicate any future outcome.

Marks, grades, revaluation, promotion, detention and every other academic decision are made by the student's institution and by the relevant board or university. We do not grade, moderate, revalue or overturn any academic decision.

4. No affiliation with any government or examination body

This section is important, and it prevails over anything elsewhere that might read otherwise.

Praveenya is an independent, privately operated educational platform. It is not affiliated with, associated with, authorised by, endorsed by, sponsored by, accredited by, approved by, certified by or in any way officially connected with the Government of India, any state or union territory government, any ministry or department, any examination conducting body or recruitment board, any university, or any educational or technical board.

We are not an agent, a franchisee or an official partner of any such body. Nothing on the Platform should be read as an official communication, notification, circular, admit card, result, merit list, answer key or advisory from any authority. We do not accept applications, examination fees or documents on behalf of any board or examination body, and we can neither influence nor alter any decision such a body takes.

4.1 Always use the official source

For notifications, syllabus, exam pattern, eligibility, application forms, admit cards, answer keys, results and every other authoritative announcement, rely only on the official website of the body concerned:

These links are given for your convenience only. Those sites belong to the bodies named, not to us; we do not control them and are not responsible for their content, their availability or the accuracy of what they publish. Where anything on Praveenya differs from the official source, the official source governs. Students of a school or college should also treat their own institution's office as an authoritative point of contact.

4.2 Trademarks and examination names

All examination names, board and university names and logos, course names, product names and other trademarks referred to anywhere on the Platform — including those named above — belong to their respective owners. They are used nominatively, purely to indicate the subject matter that a set of practice content relates to, so that a learner can find material relevant to what they are studying. Their use implies no affiliation, sponsorship, endorsement, licence or approval by the owner of the mark, and no such claim is made. If you own a mark and believe it has been used improperly on the Platform, write to support@quizcash.in and we will review it promptly.

5. Accuracy of quiz and study content

Questions, answer keys, explanations, solutions and study material on the Platform are prepared by our content team or contributed by the institutions that use the Platform. Some material is drafted or summarised with the assistance of automated tools and then reviewed. We make reasonable efforts to keep it accurate and current, but we do not warrant that any of it is free of errors, omissions, ambiguity or out-of-date references, or that it matches the current syllabus or marking scheme of any board, university or examining authority.

Treat every item as a study aid. Do not rely on it as an authoritative source for a high-stakes examination, and check anything that matters against your prescribed textbook, your teacher and the official source in Section 4.

5.1 How to report an error

If you find a wrong answer key, a mistake in an explanation, a duplicate or an out-of-date question, please tell us — it genuinely helps every other learner:

• In the app, use the report or feedback option on the question or attempt-review screen, where your institution has that screen enabled.
• By e-mail, write to support@quizcash.in. Please include the subject and chapter, the question as it appeared, the answer the app showed, what you believe the correct answer is, and — where you can — the textbook, syllabus or official source that supports it. A screenshot helps.

We review reports and correct verified errors as quickly as we reasonably can. Where the question was uploaded by an institution, we refer the report to that institution, because the content is theirs and only it can change it. A correction does not, by itself, change a mark or result already recorded by an institution — that decision belongs to the institution.

6. Information supplied by your institution

Where you have joined a school, college or polytechnic inside the app, the Platform may display attendance, marks and report cards, timetables, assignments and homework, the academic calendar, notices, syllabus coverage, your student profile, documents issued to you, and the record of your institution's own academic fee dues.

All of that information is entered, maintained and owned by your institution. We display what the institution recorded. We do not create it, verify it, audit it or correct it.

• The institution's own office is the system of record — not Praveenya. Its registers, ledgers and files are authoritative; the app is a convenient window onto them and nothing more.
• If a figure differs, the institution's record governs. A screen in the app is not proof of attendance, of a mark, of a payment or of any other academic fact, and it should not be relied on as evidence for any official, statutory or legal purpose.
• Information may be incomplete, provisional or delayed — for example marks not yet published, attendance not yet marked, or a change made in the office that has not yet been entered on the Platform.
• Raise every discrepancy with your institution — class teacher, head of department, examination cell or administrative office, as appropriate. They are the only people who can investigate and correct a record. We cannot amend an institution's data on request, and asking us will only delay the correction.
• Certificates, transcripts, leaving certificates and similar documents shown in the app are issued by, and remain the responsibility of, the institution. Their validity is a matter for the institution and the authority that recognises it.

We are not a party to the relationship between a student and their institution. Academic decisions, marks, attendance, discipline, certificates, an institution's own fee policy, and grievances about any of them, are matters between you and the institution — see Section 7 and Section 8 of our Terms of Service.

7. No monetary component

Consistent with Section 4 of our Terms of Service, and prevailing over anything elsewhere that might read otherwise:

• Praveenya offers no cash prize, monetary prize, payout, financial reward, stake, wager, bet, lottery, sweepstake or real-money game of any kind. No quiz, test, leaderboard, ranking, streak or competition on the Platform awards cash or anything of monetary value, and there are no winnings of any sort.
• There are no entry fees. You never pay, deposit, stake or risk anything to take a quiz, sit a test or appear on a leaderboard. The app is free to download and free to use, with no in-app purchases, no subscriptions and no paid unlocks, and it contains no payment SDK.
• There is no wallet and no balance. The Platform holds no monetary balance for you and makes no disbursement to you: there is nothing to deposit and nothing to withdraw. Because nothing of monetary value is ever paid out, no KYC or PAN detail is collected for any payout, and no tax is deducted at source on anything.
• Points have no value. Scores, ranks, badges, streaks and progress points are indicators of learning progress only. They cannot be redeemed, encashed, transferred, sold, gifted or exchanged for money, goods or services.

The one place a rupee figure may appear in the app is the Fees screen, and it is worth being precise about it. Those amounts are the institution's own academic fees — tuition and related academic charges set by that school or college under its own fee policy and the education regulations that apply to it. They are set, billed, collected, receipted, adjusted and disputed by the institution, and they are paid to the institution outside this Platform by whatever method it offers. They are not an entry fee, a stake, a wager, a subscription to Praveenya or a platform charge, and we neither collect, process, hold, route nor receive any part of them. Any question about a charge, an instalment, a due date, a concession, a fine or a receipt must be raised with the institution, which is the only body that can answer or change it.

If any listing, advertisement, forum post, video or other third-party description suggests that Praveenya offers a monetary benefit, that description is wrong. This section states the position, and it governs.

8. Not professional advice

Nothing on the Platform is legal, financial, medical, psychological, tax, career, admission, immigration or other professional advice, and nothing on it is intended to be relied on as such. In particular, subject content in fields such as law, commerce, accountancy, medicine, nursing, pharmacy and engineering is presented for academic study only and must never be applied to a real-world situation. Always consult a suitably qualified professional — and, for study and career decisions, your teacher, your institution's counsellor and the official source in Section 4.

9. Third-party services and external links

The Platform relies on services operated by third parties, including Google Firebase (push notifications, analytics, crash reporting and remote configuration), Google AdMob and its mediation partners (advertising), cloud hosting and infrastructure providers, and communication providers that deliver verification codes and e-mails. Each has its own terms and privacy policy, which govern how it handles data, and we are not responsible for their services. Our Privacy Policy explains what this means for your information.

The Platform and this website may also link to external websites, including the official sites listed in Section 4. Those links are provided for convenience only. We do not control, monitor, endorse or take responsibility for the content, accuracy, availability, security or privacy practices of any external site, and following a link is at your own risk.

10. Advertising

Praveenya is free for learners and is funded in part by advertising. The app may show banner, native or full-screen advertisements supplied by Google AdMob and its mediation partners. Advertising content is selected and served by the advertising networks — we do not choose, review or endorse individual advertisements, advertisers, or the goods, services, claims or offers made in them. An advertisement appearing in the app is not a recommendation by us, and any dealing you have with an advertiser is between you and that advertiser. No assessment result, mark or academic outcome ever depends on viewing an advertisement, and nothing you receive for viewing one has any monetary value.

11. Institution and user content

Quizzes, question papers, notices, homework, study material, marks and documents uploaded or published by an institution are that institution's content, published under its authority and on its responsibility. Material submitted by users — homework, survey answers, feedback — represents the view of the contributor. We do not pre-screen this material, we do not endorse it, and we are not liable for its accuracy, quality or lawfulness, or for any infringement or harm arising from it. If you believe content on the Platform is unlawful or infringes your rights, write to support@quizcash.in with enough detail to identify it, and we will act in accordance with applicable law.

12. Availability is not guaranteed

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.

• We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
• We may suspend, interrupt or modify any feature for maintenance, upgrades, security or operational reasons. Individual modules are switched on or off by each institution, so a feature available to one user may be unavailable to another.
• Access depends on your device, your operating system version and your internet connection, none of which are within our control.
• Do not leave a time-critical academic task to the last moment. Where an assignment, a test attempt or a submission deadline matters, allow for the possibility that the app, your device or your connection is unavailable, and keep your institution informed. We are not responsible for a missed deadline, an incomplete attempt or a lost submission caused by an interruption.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, QuizCash and its directors, officers, employees, affiliates, partners and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages — including loss of data, goodwill, opportunity or academic outcome — arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Platform, or your reliance on any content on it. This Disclaimer is subject to, and must be read together with, the limitation of liability in Section 18 of our Terms of Service. Nothing here excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

14. Changes to this Disclaimer

We may update this Disclaimer from time to time, for example when we add a feature or when the law changes. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Continued use of the Platform after a change takes effect means that you accept the updated Disclaimer.

If your question is about a mark, attendance, homework, a certificate or your institution's own fee record, please contact your institution first — that information belongs to the institution, and only the institution can change it.
